BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Product Designer V in Menlo Park, CA the United States.
Position Title: Product Designer V
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Anticipated Start Date: 3/ 31/ 2025

Expected Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: [>=40 weeks] [Contract] [ONSITE].
Pay Range: $80 - $90/hr. on W2.

Job Description:
As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. You will be expected to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design, and visual design skills, and you will own the experience for a wide
area of the product.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design flows and experiences that are simple and elegant
* Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable
* Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant
* Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams
* Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
* Partner with Product Managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
Skills:
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
* Front-end programming
* Experience in building and shipping applications or software
* Provide URL featuring examples of interaction design work
* Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required.
Minimum Years of Experience:10 +
Must-Have Skills
1. High craft with expert proficiency in Figma. This means they have a portfolio which shows modern simple and intuitive designs (high bar on quality)
2. Strong prototyper (can be any prototyping tool)
3. High output generator, able generate high amount of good designs within short time
4. Past enterprise tooling experience and designs for web + mobile.
Nice-to-Have Skills
1. An effective communicator and engaging storyteller, conveying complex ideas with clarity and precision
2. Experienced at working with cross-functional partners and collaborating with other designers
3. Ability to work independently and manage one's time
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Innovate on simple and intuitive consumer-grade enterprise experiences Uphold an exceptional craft bar, moving seamlessly from idea to execution on pixel-level details
- Leverage fast prototyping to demonstrate ideas and land alignment
- Strategic thinker and partner with other designers to create scalable solutions across the Family of Apps
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to deliver the user experience from conception until launch
