About the Shop
Trans-Formers is a family-owned repair shop specializing in automatic transmissions while also handling general maintenance and repairs. You?ll work on Domestic, Asian, and European light-duty vehicles in a heated, seven-lift facility. The shop provides Snap-on ZEUS and Matco diagnostic equipment, along with ALLDATA and Identifix, and focuses on giving technicians the time and resources to complete repairs correctly.
Pay & Benefits
- B-Level Technician: $20?$30 per hour
- A-Level Technician: $30?$40 per hour
- Weekly pay, with overtime available
- Two weeks of PTO per year

What You?ll Do
- Perform automotive repairs and diagnostics suited to your experience
- Remove and replace transmissions and engines
- Diagnose drivability concerns on light-duty vehicles
- Work on a mix of general repairs and transmission-related jobs
- Use the shop?s diagnostic equipment and repair resources to complete quality repairs
- Perform advanced diagnostics and vehicle programming or reprogramming if working at the A-Level
What We?re Looking For
- At least 5 years of automotive repair experience
- B-Level: Strong general repair skills, including engine and transmission removal and replacement
- A-Level: Strong automotive, drivability, and transmission diagnostic skills, plus programming and reprogramming experience
- A dependable, team-focused approach to repairs
Dealership and independent shop experience are both welcome. Automotive certifications are preferred.
