Core Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of SAP data, analytics, and AI strategies across multiple product and platform teams.
Standardization & Governance: Establish enterprise-wide standards for DataSphere, BW/4HANA, SAC, and CDS views, ensuring seamless S/4HANA integration.
Hybrid Data Modeling: Design complex semantic and virtualized models that blend SAP and non-SAP sources into a cohesive, high-performance pipeline.
Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor data engineers by providing documented, production-grade architectural blueprints and best practices.
Strategic Alignment: Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance teams to ensure SAP initiatives support broader organizational goals and agile workflows.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Engineering (Master’s degree highly preferred).
Professional Experience: 8+ years of deep technical leadership in SAP data engineering and analytics environments.
Modernization Expertise: Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA migrations, including the adoption of DataSphere and BW/4HANA.
Technical Ecosystem: Expert-level knowledge of MDG, data quality frameworks, AI/ML enablement, and cloud integrations (specifically Databricks/Azure).
Certifications: Active SAP or Cloud Provider (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform) certifications are strongly preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex SAP architectures into actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders and agile teams.
