Project Description

The position requires the candidate to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role involves evaluating company operations to identify inefficiencies and implementing technically sound solutions. The candidate must analyze data, define project requirements, and create documentation to improve processes, products, or software. Key responsibilities include researching, communicating, and facilitating change in alignment with ITS technical standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Ensure business requirements are elicited from business owners and key stakeholders
Communicate, document, and manage requirements, ensuring inclusion in project plans upon approval
Coordinate development of test plans and collaborate with the Project Technical Lead for testing activities

Role Overview

The Software Analyst studies the application domain, prepares software requirements, and develops specification documents. Acts as a liaison between software users and developers, ensuring user needs are effectively translated into technical requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

84+ Months Experience:
- Eliciting and analyzing stakeholder business needs using business analysis techniques
- Converting requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
- Creating and maintaining software development artifacts (context diagrams, use cases, swim lane diagrams, report specs, wireframes, UI specs, etc.)
- Leading requirements elicitation sessions and ensuring clear communication
72+ Months Experience:
- Managing requirements lifecycle (traceability, baselines, change control)
- Creating test plans, test cases, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
36+ Months Experience:
- Working with Healthcare systems
Certification:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) by IIBA (preferred)
