Summary

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Healthcare Data Engineer with 12+ years of experience in building and managing scalable data solutions. This role focuses on designing and maintaining data pipelines, developing backend APIs, and leveraging AWS cloud services to support data-driven applications within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS technologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and processing Develop backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js with comprehensive unit testing Utilize AWS Lambda to build and manage serverless, event-driven workflows Implement and manage NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps and Data Science to deliver scalable data solutions Optimize data processing and storage for performance, scalability, and reliability (Optional) Design and deploy containerized applications using AWS EKS (Optional) Provision and manage AWS resources including EC2, S3, API Gateway, SQS, SES, and Pinpoint Required Qualifications 12+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services Experience designing and building data pipelines and data processing systems Experience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch Experience developing backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices Experience working in the healthcare domain Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization and orchestration using AWS EKS Experience provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure services Strong collaboration and communication skills Experience working in cross-functional, Agile environments Education: Bachelors Degree
