Epsilon C5I (, focused on software development and systems engineering for intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures, particularly within IL6 and IL7 environments. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and government compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures supporting IL6 and IL7 environments.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD and IC security standards.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Support accreditation and continuous monitoring activities for classified networks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years supporting IL6 and IL7 environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Security+ certification (DoD 8570 compliant).
- Proficiency with Cisco or equivalent network technologies.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and other DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Additional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Experience with design and development of robust hosting environments
- Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell) for network automation.
Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $155,000 To $190,000 Annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
