Position: Azure OpenAI Engineer (Infra + Python development)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Azure OpenAI Engineer who brings a hybrid skill set across infrastructure and application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, APIs, Azure cloud services, and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI services while ensuring scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using Python and REST APIs.
• Integrate and deploy LLM solutions using Azure OpenAI Service.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Containers, AKS, etc.).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Develop and optimize API integrations for AI/LLM-based workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of AI applications in production.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance across Azure AI deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, data, and application teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
• Experience integrating and deploying LLMs (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure services (App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, Storage, Key Vault).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Good understanding of security, networking, and cloud architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings.
• Experience deploying AI workloads in enterprise environments.
• Azure certifications are a plus.
