We are seeking a seasoned Advanced Mainframe Programmer to support critical, large-scale healthcare data systems. If you have 10+ years of legacy system expertise and want a stable, long-term remote opportunity, we want to hear from you!
Position Details
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must reside in the Continental US)
- Shift: EST Hours
- Work Location (HQ): Clemson, SC
- Interview Process: 1-Round Phone Interview (Fast-moving!)
Key Technical Requirements
Candidates must possess the following core technical background to be considered:
- Mainframe Environment: 10+ years of deep expertise
- MVS COBOL: 10+ years of hands-on development
- IDMS (Network/Relational): 10+ years of database experience
- CA-ADS: 10+ years of programming experience
- JCL: 5+ years of experience
Preferred Bonus Skills
- Experience with ChangeMan, File-Aid, Footprints, or SAS
- Prior State Medicaid / MMIS claims processing experience
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborative code modification, debugging, and unit/integration testing on legacy systems.
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams during release cycles.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation to maintain production system stability.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma paired with 10+ years of computer system development experience.
