Business System Analyst VII  -  PV W2

Duration : 12+ Months

Location :  Hybrid/Buffalo, NY 1st preference - Someone local to Buffalo, NY, or open to relocation out of pocket to Buffalo, NY to be onsite from day 1 in a hybrid work model (4 days onsite/1 day remote – mandatory, no exceptions), or 100% Remote considered

MUST HAVE:

• Prior experience in Banking and/or Financial domains required / Strong preference for someone with experience in Commercial Banking, Business Lending and/or large scale software implementation projects)

Skill Set 1: Large-scale program delivery experience

Skill Set 2: Experience coordinating upstream/downstream application dependencies

Skill Set 3: Risk, issue, dependency, and decision management

• Onsite hybrid at Lafayette court location is highly desired.  Remote candidates for a rock star a possibility.
• Work environment will be more waterfall (not agile).
• Total ecosystem replacement – moving to AFS Vision in commercial lending area of the bank.
• Experience with Jira is desired.
• Experience with large, complex program implementations.
• One interview – video.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Combined minimum of 10 years; higher education and/or operational/business analytics/systems development experience.
Experience on large system enhancements, conversions and production problem resolution.
Complete understanding of the system development life cycle.
Familiarity with application development support software and hardware platforms.
Extensive application, product knowledge experience with skills, application(s) and functions of the technology area being led.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Bachelor’s degree.
Understanding of multiple business areas functions.
Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature.
SME understanding of applications supported with an advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications.
Mastered knowledge and focus of the entire system and support projects outside of normal BAU.
Ability to effectively use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Good understanding of the Bank's application framework.
Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms.
Ability to assert ideas and gain support and commitment from others.
Ability to encourage teamwork and serve as role model when leading and directing others.
Ability to understand technical, business and operational impacts of a project or problem.
Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
