Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, scalable code using Python, SQL (SQL Server or Oracle), Scripting (PowerShell or Unix shell) languages
• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications and systems
• Collaborate with leads & internal team to produce software design and architecture
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with Scrum master, Product Managers, Application leads and other stakeholders to deliver complex products from inception to implementation and iterate on new features
• Learn, collaborate, and teach other Software Engineers

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience and with current role as Senior developer
• Object oriented programming knowledge
• Experience in Python, SQL (SQL Server or Oracle), Scripting (PowerShell or Unix shell)
• Experience with git and CI/CD
• Experience with creating RDB schemas on database platforms such as SQL Server
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

Desired skills:

• Jira Stories and backlog management
• Angular or React or Blazor or jQuery, Bootstrap
• Experience with cloud computing, containers using AWS or Azure
• Experience working with a remote team
• Experience working with a global or otherwise multicultural team
• Experience with Encryption, C++, C#, NoSQL (Cassandra or MongoDB) and AI

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24
