Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Planning Cloud Functional Consultant to join our Oracle Supply Chain transformation team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM Planning applications, including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Replenishment Planning, and Supply Chain Collaboration Cloud.
The candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end implementation activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support. The role requires strong client-facing consulting skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global delivery environment.
Candidates with strong experience in Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and a willingness to transition into Oracle Fusion Planning Cloud are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering workshops and business process discussions with client stakeholders and SMEs.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle SCM Planning Cloud solutions.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Planning Cloud applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide functional recommendations.
- Drive end-to-end implementation lifecycle activities, including:
- Solution Design
- Configuration
- SIT
- UAT
- Go-Live
- Hypercare Support
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, reports, and extensions.
- Manage and support REST API-based integrations between Oracle Fusion and external systems.
- Validate source-to-target mappings for transactional and master data integrations.
- Support data migration activities, including data validation and reconciliation.
- Work closely with offshore/onshore teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Support defect resolution during testing and production support phases.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, process documents, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Oracle teams, including ERP, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Order Management teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM Planning Cloud applications, including:
- Supply Planning
- Demand Planning
- S&OP
- Replenishment Planning
- Supply Chain Collaboration Cloud
- OR
- 4+ years of experience implementing Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP).
- Experience in:
- At least one full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Fusion Planning Cloud
- OR two full lifecycle implementations of Oracle ASCP
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and solution design.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning business processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud components.
- Experience with:
- Descriptive Flexfields (DFFs)
- Custom Objects
- Reports
- Planning configurations
- Understanding of REST API integrations and data mapping concepts.
- Experience with Oracle integration tools and middleware is preferred.
- Exposure to Data Migration activities including FBDI/ADFDI.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and Production Support activities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global delivery model.
- Experience working directly with business users and leadership teams.
