Role: ServiceNow Software Engineer IV

Rate: $80/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer IV to lead and enhance the Unauthorized Change Detection program within a regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow, ITSM processes, change management, workflow automation, and governance, with a strong focus on compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Unauthorized Change Detection program, including strategy, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and manage ServiceNow workflows, integrations, dashboards, and event ingestion processes.
• Build and maintain automated reconciliation processes to match detected changes with approved change records.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Application, Mainframe, and Change Management teams to investigate and remediate unauthorized changes.
• Support audit and regulatory requirements through documentation, evidence collection, and control validation.
• Develop operational metrics, executive reporting, and control dashboards.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across the organization.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience.
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications and ITSM processes.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Change Management, Event Management/ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with Change Detection tools such as Tripwire and automated reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow workflow automation.
• 7+ years of experience in ITSM, Change Enablement, Security Operations, Platform Operations, or SRE environments, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of ITIL 4, governance, root-cause analysis, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OCC, FFIEC, NIST, and regulatory change management frameworks.
• ServiceNow CIS certifications, ITIL 4 certifications, or CISA/CISM/CRISC credentials.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud event monitoring, and change quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting audits and executive reporting.
