Workday Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX seeking a Workday Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations within the Workday ecosystem
* Build and support inbound and outbound integrations using standard Workday integration technologies
* Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable, high-quality integration solutions
* Monitor integration performance and proactively resolve errors, failures, and data discrepancies
* Support upgrades, new releases, and enhancements to existing integrations
* Collaborate with Workday analysts, HRIS, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure seamless data flow
* Document integration logic, configurations, and support procedures
* Participate in testing, deployment, and post-production support activities

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-5 years of experience developing and supporting integrations on the Workday platform
* Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Workday integrations

Strong understanding of:
* Workday integration frameworks (e.g., EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs, or similar)
* Data formats such as XML, JSON, and flat files

* Experience supporting integrations across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, or related modules
* Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
