Job Summary

NYCHA is seeking an experienced Siebel Administrator to provide Siebel CRM administration, environment management, and production support. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Siebel environments across Development, Test, and Production.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Siebel CRM, Siebel Server administration, Linux, Oracle Database/SQL, application troubleshooting, environment migrations, performance monitoring, and production incident resolution.

The candidate will work closely with technical teams, business users, and other support teams to ensure the stability, performance, availability, and reliability of the Siebel CRM environment.

Key Responsibilities

Siebel Administration

• Administer and support Oracle Siebel CRM environments.
• Manage Siebel environments across Development, Test, and Production.
• Administer Siebel Server, Siebel Gateway, Enterprise Server, and Object Manager components.
• Install, configure, maintain, and patch Siebel environments.
• Monitor Siebel application and server health.
• Perform configuration changes and environment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot Siebel application and infrastructure issues.

Production Support

• Provide day-to-day Siebel production support.
• Monitor and respond to production incidents.
• Troubleshoot application availability, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Investigate and resolve critical production issues within established timelines.
• Support end users and technical teams with Siebel-related issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.

Troubleshooting & Performance

• Diagnose and resolve Siebel Server and Object Manager issues.
• Troubleshoot server crashes and application failures.
• Perform log analysis across Siebel and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Perform performance tuning across the Siebel application stack.
• Troubleshoot database, application server, web server, and integration-related issues.

Environment Management & Migration

• Set up and maintain Siebel environments.
• Perform migrations between Development, Test, and Production.
• Utilize the Siebel Migration Tool for application/environment migration.
• Validate deployments and ensure successful post-migration operations.
• Coordinate environment changes with development and application teams.

Linux Administration

• Perform basic to advanced Linux server administration tasks.
• Monitor CPU, memory, disk space, processes, services, and system health.
• Use Linux commands and utilities for troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Work with infrastructure teams to resolve server-level issues.

Oracle Database / SQL

• Support Siebel environments running on Oracle Database.
• Write and troubleshoot Oracle SQL queries.
• Analyze database-related issues impacting Siebel performance.
• Troubleshoot queries, connectivity, locks, and performance issues.
• Work with database administrators when required.

Web Servers & Security

• Support Siebel environments utilizing Apache and Tomcat.
• Troubleshoot web server and application connectivity issues.
• Manage and troubleshoot SSL certificates across Siebel environments.
• Support certificate renewals and resolve SSL-related connectivity issues.

Integration Support

• Support Siebel integrations with external applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot SOAP and REST web services.
• Analyze integration failures and communication issues.
• Work with middleware and integration teams when required.
• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite or MuleSoft is a plus.

Required Skills

• 3 5+ years of hands-on Siebel Administration experience.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Siebel CRM architecture.
• Experience administering:
• Siebel Server
• Siebel Gateway
• Siebel Enterprise Server
• Siebel Object Manager
• Experience with Siebel installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Oracle Database.
• Strong Oracle SQL skills.
• Experience with Apache and/or Tomcat.
• Experience with Siebel Tools.
• Experience with Siebel Migration Tool.
• Experience managing SSL certificates.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to analyze application and server logs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite.
• Experience with MuleSoft.
• Experience supporting Siebel integrations with external systems.
• Oracle Siebel CRM certification.
• Oracle Database or Middleware certification.
• Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
