AppDynamics Consultant- SAP Monitoring Miami, FL (Once in a Month) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled AppDynamics Lead Consultant / SME with strong experience in SAP application monitoring and full-stack observability. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing AppDynamics solutions across SAP S/4HANA environments, with deep expertise in APM, EUM, DB monitoring, and SAP ABAP visibility. This role requires strong technical skills, automation experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues in enterprise SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support AppDynamics full-stack observability solutions for SAP applications.
• Configure and manage SAP monitoring using AppDynamics (ABAP, Java, and HANA DB agents).
• Deploy and maintain AppDynamics APM, EUM, Database Monitoring, and Application Analytics.
• Enable ABAP code-level visibility to identify performance bottlenecks and define Health Rules.
• Create and manage Custom Business Transactions (BTs), Dashboards, and Alerts.
• Configure AppDynamics BIQ functionality for the SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ABAP dumps, IDOCs, batch jobs, and background processes.
• Build and optimize SQL queries for performance analysis and reporting.
• Integrate AppDynamics with ServiceNow for incident and event management.
• Support integrations involving SAP S/4HANA, Manhattan WMS, SOA, and IBM MQ.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, reliability, and observability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience with AppDynamics in enterprise environments.

Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA monitoring using AppDynamics.

Proven expertise in deploying:

• SAP ABAP Agent
• Java Agent
• HANA DB Monitoring

Deep understanding of observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces).

Experience with Custom BT creation, Analytics dashboards, and Health Rules.

Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP performance analysis.

Experience monitoring IDOCs, batch jobs, and SAP background processing.

Strong SQL skills.

Experience with ServiceNow integration.

Exposure to automation/scripting is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

AppDynamics Certifications (Associate Performance Analyst or higher)

Experience in large-scale SAP enterprise environments

Prior consulting or lead-level experience
