Role: HealthCare Benefits Configuration Analyst
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain benefit plans, rules, eligibility, and related setup in the Simplified platform.
- Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and SMEs to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Analyze benefit data and perform platform validation using SQL queries.
- Support benefit implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production issue analysis.
- Evaluate configuration changes to ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Document configuration decisions, business rules, and implementation details.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support related initiatives and releases.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in benefits administration and benefit domain knowledge, including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, eligibility, enrollment, etc.
- Hands-on experience configuring benefit plans or benefits administration systems.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to analyze and validate data.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into configuration solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in support testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Simplify platform or a similar benefits administration system.
- Knowledge of healthcare benefits and eligibility management.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with benefits data structures and reporting.
