Job Title: SAP Fiori Architect (CAPM)

Location: Preferably Houston, TX / New Jersey (3 days/week onsite)

Job Type: FTE/Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Fiori Architect with CAPM expertise to lead the design and implementation of modern SAP applications using SAP Fiori/UI5 and the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) on SAP BTP. This role will drive architecture decisions, define best practices, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead end-to-end architecture for SAP Fiori and CAPM-based applications
Design scalable solutions using SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) and CAPM (Node.js/Java)
Architect and oversee development of SAP Fiori/UI5 and Fiori Elements applications
Define and implement OData services (V2/V4) and integration patterns with SAP S/4HANA
Establish UI/UX standards and governance for Fiori applications
Lead technical design workshops and provide guidance to development teams
Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with SAP best practices
Define DevOps strategies including CI/CD pipelines and transport management
Collaborate with functional architects, business stakeholders, and integration teams
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP Fiori/UI5 architecture
Proven experience in SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
Deep knowledge of SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, services, deployment models)
Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, or Java for CAPM development
Strong experience in CDS (Core Data Services) and data modeling
Extensive experience with OData services (V2/V4) and API design
Hands-on experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems
Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Git-based workflows
Strong understanding of security, authentication (OAuth, XSUAA), and role-based access
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
