Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with strong AI/ML and software engineering experience to work directly with healthcare payer teams. The FDE will deploy, integrate, customize, and support AI-driven solutions that improve and automate healthcare claims operations, claims processing, and payer workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on engineering skills with the ability to work directly with customers, business stakeholders, and healthcare operations teams. Experience with Python, APIs, SQL, AI/ML, LLMs/Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, cloud platforms, and healthcare payer processes is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with healthcare payer business, operations, and technology teams to understand business requirements, operational processes, and claims workflows.
  • Analyze healthcare claims data, business rules, SOPs, exception workflows, and pend processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation.
  • Configure, integrate, deploy, and customize AI/ML solutions within customer and enterprise environments.
  • Develop production-ready solutions using Python, APIs, SQL, AI/ML models, LLMs, GenAI, and data pipelines.
  • Build and enhance AI-powered applications, workflows, automation solutions, and decision-support capabilities.
  • Develop and integrate LLM, RAG, AI agent, and agentic workflow solutions where applicable.
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions with existing enterprise applications, healthcare systems, APIs, databases, and data platforms.
  • Support healthcare claims processing, claims adjudication, payment integrity, exception handling, and pend workflows.
  • Work with large healthcare datasets to develop data-driven AI/ML solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application, data, integration, and production issues and rapidly adapt solutions to customer requirements.
  • Support testing, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement of AI/ML applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data engineers, ML engineers, and customer teams to translate customer requirements into scalable product capabilities.
  • Participate in solution design, technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, implementation, and production rollouts.
  • Work in a fast-paced customer environment and balance technical delivery with customer engagement.
