Manual Automation Tester

Initially for 2-3 months tester would work on manual testing and later it would be automation testing

Key Responsibilities

• 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, test case development, test planning, defect management, and QA processes
• Good understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of applications.
• Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Able to write SQL query if needed for backend testing / data preparation
• Review requirements and work closely with Product and Business teams to clarify requirements, identify gaps, and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Collaborate with Development teams to understand technical changes, troubleshoot issues, and validate defect fixes.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution using appropriate defect management tools.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Establish and follow QA processes, standards, best practices, and quality metrics.
• Ensure appropriate testing activities are incorporated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, risks, and overall quality status to project stakeholders.
• Conduct application/product demos and communicate testing outcomes and product readiness to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify risks and proactively address quality issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with test automation tool (Tosca , Playwright) is needed 1-3 years
