Summary

Position: Palantir Foundry Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Palantir Engineer (Foundry) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying data solutions within Palantir Foundry, including ontology modeling, pipeline creation, and application-layer development.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain end-to-end Palantir Foundry applications.
Develop and manage Foundry ontologies, including object modeling, relationships, and semantic layers.
Build, optimize, and monitor Foundry pipelines (ingestion, transformation, orchestration).
Develop application-layer components using Foundry’s tooling (Code Workbook, Object Workbook, app frameworks).
Translate business and operational requirements into scalable Foundry solutions.
Partner closely with onsite stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, clinical, and supply chain teams.
Deliver production-ready applications within short, iterative development cycles (6–12 weeks).
Support long-term maintainability under Build–Operate–Maintain or Build–Operate–Transfer engagement models.

Requirements

Proven experience with Foundry ontology design and modeling
Experience in Foundry pipelines (ETL/ELT, transformations, orchestration) and Foundry application layer development
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Typescript/JavaScript for UI components.
Demonstrated ability to deliver independently with minimal ramp-up.
Experience working onsite with enterprise stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

Prior work in regulated or complex enterprise environments (healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing).
Experience supporting:

Smart manufacturing
Yield improvement / scrap reduction
Supply chain visualization and analytics
Clinical or operational data platforms

Familiarity integrating Foundry with Databricks or other ML platforms.
Experience with LLM-enabled applications within Foundry.
