Key Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using C# and TypeScript, ensuring comprehensive coverage for both APIs and user interfaces.
• Partner closely with software developers and product stakeholders to define test boundaries, optimize automation coverage, and eliminate testing bottlenecks.
• Drive quality metrics for assigned product lines, proactively identifying technical risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers in automation best practices, modern testing methodologies, and system architecture.
• Embed automated test suites into CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to support continuous deployment and rapid feedback loops.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, fostering collaboration and alignment across distributed teams.

qualifications:

5+ years of deep experience in Software Quality Engineering, SDLC methodologies, and full-stack testing (front-end and back-end) for web or connected-device applications.

5+ years of hands-on software development or scripting experience, with proficiency in languages such as C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.

Strong understanding of the test pyramid with proven success designing suites across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end (E2E) testing layers.

Advanced hands-on experience with modern UI and API automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO).

Practical experience configuring and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

Demonstrated ability to spearhead test strategies, author test plans, and mentor peer engineers.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience utilizing testing libraries and runners such as NUnit, Mocha, or Jest.

Exposure to non-functional testing domains, including performance, load, usability, and security testing.

A highly analytical mindset with a passion for troubleshooting complex systems and learning new technologies quickly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully managing interdisciplinary relationships.
