Job Details

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Property Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Commercial Real Estate industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on commercial real estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our commercial real estate portfolio
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, lenders, and investors
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
  • Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ years of experience in Property Accounting, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Proficiency in Yardi software or equivalent property management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
