In this position as the Laboratory Supervisor for Central Processing , you\'ll have the opportunity to lead an expanding and dynamic team of dedicated professionals. Join us as Laboratory Supervisor and see the Amazing Things Happening in the Laboratory.

This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday plus alternate weekends & rotating holidays, with supervisory coverage extended to other shifts as inherent in a leadership position. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor\'s Degree

• Laboratory-related certifications
• ASCP Certification or NYS Licensure for Clinical Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) and other laboratory information systems (e.g. Epic, Epic Beaker)
• Knowledge of data analytics tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI

Required Criteria

• Associate\'s degree or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years of laboratory experience defining pre-analytical and post analytical processes
• Documented supervisory experience
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Established working knowledge of MS Office 365: PowerPoint, Excel
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, leadership, and stakeholders.
