Location: Columbus, OH

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The role involves building robust backend services, collaborating with frontend teams using React and TypeScript, and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications built in React + TypeScript
Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Product)
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
Implement unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Java (8 or above)
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
Experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs
Working knowledge of React.js and TypeScript
Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch)
Familiarity with Docker and containerization
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
