Summary

Position: SAP S/4HANA & EWM Techno-Functional Supply Chain Consultant

Location: Hybrid- Indianapolis, IN- (Local candidate) Duration: 12 months contract

Senior SAP S/4HANA & EWM Techno-Functional Supply Chain Consultant- 60% Technical / 40% Functional

This position will be a Hybrid role and the client is requesting a local based candidate, and due to client having US Government customers, s candidates are currently being considered.

Job Description:

Role: Support the NALO enterprise analytics initiative by translating SAP business requirements into data mappings, transformation rules, KPI definitions, semantic model inputs, and analytics-ready data structures. The consultant will work directly with business stakeholders, SAP SMEs, data engineers, Fabric architects, and reporting teams to ensure SAP operational data is accurately represented in executive analytics and future AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct SAP supply chain, warehouse, inventory, delivery, logistics, and reporting requirement sessions.

Analyze SAP transactions, screens, reports, business workflows, and existing spreadsheet/reporting artifacts.

Identify SAP source tables, fields, CDS Views, BW/4HANA objects, ADSOs, Calculation Views, etc.

Create source-to-target mapping documents and transformation specifications.

Define KPI calculations, reporting logic, exception handling, filters, and validation rules.

Collaborate with Microsoft Fabric data engineers to support Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer design.

Support Power BI dashboard requirements and semantic model definition.

Participate in data reconciliation, report validation, and UAT activities.

Prepare documentation and knowledge transfer materials for client and implementation teams.

Qualifications:

10+ years SAP experience.

Strong SAP S/4HANA supply chain and logistics experience.

Strong SAP EWM experience.

Experience with inventory, warehouse operations, deliveries, shipping, order fulfillment, and logistics reporting.

Experience creating source-to-target mappings and business logic documentation.

Strong business-facing communication and workshop facilitation skills.

U.S.-based resource authorized to access restricted project data.

Preferred:

Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure data platform, semantic model, or data warehouse experience.

SAP BW/4HANA, CDS Views, ADSOs, and SAP reporting layer experience.
