SAP Security Engineer (Senior)
Duration: 4/1/2026 – 3/31/2027
Location: Hybrid (Remote/South Carolina)
Travel: 25–50% to South Carolina
Security Clearance: This position requires eligibility to work on government contracts

Role Overview: Design and implement SAP role-based security architecture for an enterprise MRP modernization project. Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards while managing authorization and access controls in a secure computing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design SAP role-based security architecture
  • Configure authorization objects and roles for MRP users
  • Implement segregation of duties controls
  • Integrate SAP with identity management systems (AD, SSO, MFA)
  • Conduct access risk assessments and remediation
  • Support audit documentation and compliance reporting
  • Monitor authorization issues and enforce least-privilege principles
  • Ensure alignment with federal cybersecurity standards (NIST, FISMA)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years SAP security administration experience
  • Strong expertise in SAP authorization objects and role design
  • Experience in regulated or government environments
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, federal standards)
  • Ability to travel for on-site compliance and audit support
  • Must be eligible to work on federal government projects (US persons only)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP GRC Access Control experience
  • Federal agency or government contractor experience
