Job Title: DB Terraform Engineer (Oracle DBA + Terraform + Ansible)

Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite/Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE Only)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DB Terraform Engineer with a strong background in Oracle Database Administration, Terraform, and Ansible to design, automate, and deploy Oracle database infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle DBaaS Exadata environments and a passion for automation and DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Hands-on experience with Ansible Playbooks

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration

• Experience deploying Oracle databases on DBaaS Exadata

• Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting

• Experience designing end-to-end infrastructure automation solutions

• Good understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting

• Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools

• Ansible Tower

• SQL / PL/SQL

• Experience with PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) exposure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.

• Automate Oracle Database deployments on DBaaS Exadata platforms.

• Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks and Shell scripts.

• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to automate deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and database deployment issues.

• Follow DevOps best practices to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration and automation.

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripting is required.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
