Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Senior to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced cloud architectures. The selected candidate will be responsible for introducing new architectural features into existing OCI environments while maintaining the integrity, security, and operational stability of enterprise-wide cyber systems.

The OCI Senior will guide multi-disciplinary teams in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructures and cybersecurity frameworks, applying relevant standards, policies, and directives. This role requires broad experience across the systems engineering lifecycle and the ability to resolve complex cloud architecture issues during integration and testing.

The candidate will serve as an emerging authority, providing innovative solutions and technical leadership in cloud architecture and security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and integration of enterprise-scale OCI cloud architectures.

• Integrate new architectural capabilities into existing cloud environments while maintaining enterprise-wide cyber system security and compliance.

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the design and deployment of secure cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity systems.

• Apply cybersecurity standards, policies, directives, and guidance to OCI architectural frameworks.

• Compile industry best practices, lessons learned, and emerging technologies into new architectural designs and future cloud hosting environments.

• Provide leadership across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.

• Identify and resolve complex cloud architecture implementation issues during integration and testing phases.

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, security teams, and government clients.

• Exercise technical expertise to develop solutions to complex cloud and cybersecurity challenges.

• Drive innovation and improvements in OCI cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, systems engineering, cybersecurity architecture, or related roles.

• Strong knowledge of OCI cloud architecture, enterprise networking, identity management, and cybersecurity principles.

• Experience applying cybersecurity standards, policies, and compliance frameworks to cloud environments.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex cloud architecture and implementation projects.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments, including OCI, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

• Knowledge of cloud automation, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.

• Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust Architecture).

• Experience designing secure hybrid cloud or government cloud environments.

• Demonstrated leadership and recognition as a technical authority in cloud architecture and cybersecurity initiatives.

• Experience integrating security, monitoring, and compliance frameworks into OCI architecture.

Certifications:

• IAT Level II certification required.

• At least one cloud certification (OCI preferred).
