Summary

Required Qualifications 

Experience 

·         10+ years in UKG/Kronos implementations and integrations 

·         Proven experience with: 

o    UKG Pro / UKG Dimensions / Workforce Central (WFC) (depending on environment) 

o    End-to-end integration lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, support) 

·         Hands-on experience implementing complex, enterprise-level integrations across HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Benefits systems 

·         Experience working in multi-system HR ecosystems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, third-party vendors) 

 

Technical Skills (Required) 

Integration & Middleware 

·         Dell Boomi (AtomSphere) – Certification REQUIRED 

o    Process design, connectors, API integrations 

o    Error handling, monitoring, and performance tuning 

·         Strong experience with: 

o    REST/SOAP APIs 

o    XML, JSON, XSLT 

o    File-based integrations (CSV, flat files, SFTP) 

·         Experience designing: 

o    Real-time and batch integrations 

o    Event-driven architectures 

UKG Integration Tools 

·         UKG integration frameworks such as: 

o    Integration Hub / Dell Boomi integrations within UKG 

o    Dataviews / APIs / Interfaces 

·         Experience with: 

o    Data mapping between UKG and external systems 

o    Integration troubleshooting and performance optimization 

 

Functional Expertise (Required) 

Deep functional understanding of UKG business processes, including: 

·         Core HR 

·         Payroll 

·         Time & Labor / Workforce Management 

·         Absence Management 

Must demonstrate: 

·         Ability to translate business requirements into integration designs 

·         Understanding of employee lifecycle events and downstream system impacts 

·         Experience supporting functional SMEs and HR stakeholders 

·         Knowledge of compliance and pay rules configuration impacts on data flows 

 

Certifications 

Required 

·         Dell Boomi Professional Developer Certification 

Mandatory:

·         UKG Certifications (any of the following): 

o    UKG Pro Integration Certification 

o    UKG Dimensions Integration or Technical Certification 

o    UKG Workforce Central certifications 

 

Key Responsibilities 

·         Lead design and implementation of UKG integrations using Boomi 

·         Collaborate with functional teams to define integration requirements 

·         Develop and maintain: 

o    Integration specifications 

o    Data mapping documents 

o    Error handling frameworks 

·         Perform: 

o    Unit, system, and integration testing 

o    Production support and issue resolution 

·         Ensure: 

o    Data integrity and security compliance 

o    Scalable and reusable integration architecture 

·         Provide guidance and mentorship to junior integration resources 

 

Soft Skills & Leadership 

·         Strong stakeholder communication (technical + functional audiences) 

·         Ability to operate in fast-paced, client-facing environments 

·         Excellent: 

o    Problem-solving 

o    Root cause analysis 

o    Documentation discipline 

·         Proven ability to drive accountability and deliver on timelines
