Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT project management and a proven ability to work with tools like Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and objectives.

Utilize Azure DevOps for efficient project and task tracking.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resources, and risk assessments.

Monitor project progress and address any obstacles to ensure smooth execution.

Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project statuses.

Facilitate communication between teams to encourage collaboration and problem-solving.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and project management best practices.

Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.

Support ongoing process optimization within the project management office (PMO).

Requirements

Extensive experience in IT project management, including handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for project tracking and task management.
Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
Proven expertise in developing detailed project plans and risk assessments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams effectively.
Familiarity with PMO standards and practices.
A track record of delivering projects successfully within defined constraints.
