OCI Migration Expert Compute, Serverless & Middleware
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for an OCI Migration Expert Compute, Serverless & Middleware for an 18-month role. This position is a remote position with no onsite requirements.
Job Description
We are looking for an OCI Migration Expert Compute, Serverless & Middleware to support application and workload transitions from AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The candidate will play a key role in analyzing existing workloads and contributing to the migration and modernization of compute, serverless, and integration components.
Responsibilities
Support workload migration assessments and participate in solutioning sessions.
Assist in executing migration activities for compute, serverless, or middleware workloads.
Troubleshoot migration issues and contribute to successful cutovers.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve tools, processes, and templates.
Create documentation related to migration tasks and operational readiness.
Mandatory Skills :
- Have experience in migrating one of these to the desired state:
- Migrating VMs from AWS to OCI
- Migrating AWS Lambda functions to OCI Functions
- Migrating SQS-based code to OCI queueing services
- Migrating AWS Step Functions to OCI equivalents
- Migrating or refactoring middleware products to OCI
We need experienced folks to performance migration from AWS to OCI for products specified in USA.
