Product Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Product Owner in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Charlotte, NC.

Summary:
POs are the primary DSCX point of contact for UCC and interact with UCC on technical questions, prioritization, and handoffs. The ideal Product Owner will have technical experience working with development teams to help translate business needs into effective communication experiences. Overall, POs are part of the CX team and collaborate with development, design/content, marketing, customer support, and other stakeholders to design and implement efficient, scalable, and personalized communications.

Responsibilities:
* Play a lead role in collaborating with Journey Owners and complete Business Requirement Documentation (BRDs) for all comms projects
* Act as the technical and experience liaison for our comms projects with UCC our development group
* Create the input tickets for UCC and groom the projects with UCC to ensure that they understand the details, triggers, and needs for the comms
* Manage our teams' Roadmap and Backlog structure board in Jira, keeping it current and aligned to the UCC delivery dates
* Review the communications for clarity, experience, technical parameter verification, and more to ensure that each comm delivers on the intended experience
* Manage and oversee communications like email, SMS, RCS, push notifications and more

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
* 6+ years of Product Owner experience, plus 2+ years of project management experience; If candidate has 6+ years of digital producing and product owner experience, they would be considered
* Skills: Personal computer and software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.); Proficiency with Jira
* Skills: Analyze and synthesize complex data, Project management, communication
* Telecommunications experience is a plus but not required
* Previous work experience at Spectrum is a plus but not required

Abilities:
* Quickly identify business problems & opportunities; Understanding of customer experience best practices
* Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and clarifying the experiences needed to create documentation and handoff to development groups
* Communicate effectively through speaking and writing
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Document, prepare, and present data-driven presentations
* Make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure across UCC and our CX teammates

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
