Summary
Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Scrum Master to support our Cybersecurity Product Team in delivering secure, high-quality technology solutions through Agile practices. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and Agile facilitator, helping teams adopt Agile principles, remove impediments, and improve delivery outcomes in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.
This role requires strong experience working with technical product teams, security initiatives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Guide teams in Agile/Scrum best practices and continuous improvement
- Remove impediments and blockers impacting team delivery
- Partner with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog
- Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, release progress)
- Support release planning and coordination across teams
- Promote collaboration between cybersecurity, engineering, infrastructure, and product teams
- Ensure alignment with enterprise Agile governance and delivery standards
- Coach teams transitioning to Agile or scaling Agile practices
- Drive predictable and high-quality product delivery
Required Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) required
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience supporting technical or product development teams
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks
- Experience using Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience working in enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Cybersecurity or Infrastructure teams
- Familiarity with security programs (IAM, vulnerability management, SOC, cloud security, endpoint security, etc.)
- SAFe certification (SAFe Scrum Master / SAFe Agilist) is a plus
- PMP or Agile certification is a plus
- Experience in regulated industries (Energy, Utilities, Finance, Healthcare)
