Gen AI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GenAI / AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development and AI engineering experience, with hands-on expertise building scalable LLM applications, agentic workflows, RAG solutions, and AI services in enterprise production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Build intelligent agentic applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered applications using Python.
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Build integrations with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for AI/GenAI applications.
• Implement prompt engineering, prompt optimization, few-shot learning, and structured prompting techniques.
• Develop mechanisms for LLM evaluation, benchmarking, regression testing, and quality measurement.
• Implement AI application observability, monitoring, cost optimization, and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues involving AI applications and services.
• Research emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve enterprise AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, business analysts, product teams, and other developers to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Follow Agile, SDLC, TDD, and object-oriented development practices.
• Build scalable and reusable AI components suitable for enterprise environments.
• Implement appropriate Responsible AI, security, governance, and compliance controls.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to long-term enterprise AI strategy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development / SDLC experience.
• Strong hands-on Python programming experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing AI/GenAI solutions using LLMs.
• Strong experience with Generative AI and LLM application development.
• Hands-on experience building Agentic AI / AI Agent systems.
• Experience with one or more agentic frameworks:
• LangChain
• LangGraph
• Semantic Kernel
• Microsoft Copilot Studio
• OpenAI / Anthropic tool-calling
• Strong understanding of RAG architecture and implementation.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma.
• Understanding of modern Transformer and LLM architectures.
• Strong prompt engineering skills.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, automated benchmarking, and regression testing.
• Experience deploying and maintaining AI applications in production.
• Experience with AI observability, monitoring, performance optimization, and cost optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Airline, transportation, or other large enterprise experience.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, or other foundation models.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, KPI instrumentation, and operational analytics.
• Experience implementing Responsible AI governance and controls.
• Working knowledge of Java or another enterprise programming language.
• Data Science or Machine Learning experience.
