Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Kafka Developer for a FULL-TIME opportunity.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is a Full-Time position. C2C / Corp-to-Corp candidates and vendors will NOT be considered.

📍 Location: Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH (Cleveland preferred) / Dallas, TX
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

🔑 Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer
Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
Experience with Kafka Producers and Consumers
Strong understanding of Kafka Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups, and Schemas
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
Experience developing event-driven applications
Strong experience with RESTful APIs
Strong SQL and database experience
Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL
Hands-on experience with XML and JSON
Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

⭐ Preferred

Banking / Financial Services experience
Experience with highly available, fault-tolerant, and performance-sensitive Kafka/Java applications
