Senior Techno-Functional SAP PRA Consultant

Role: Senior Techno-Functional SAP PRA Consultant 
Location: Houston,Tx
with deep expertise in Production and Revenue Accounting within the Oil & Gas industry. This individual will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP PRA processes, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate revenue distribution, ownership calculations, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a techno-functional SME for SAP PRA, supporting upstream accounting and hydrocarbon revenue processes
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
Configure and support PRA processes including ownership, revenue distribution, allocations, and settlements
Work closely with SAP Finance (FI/CO) and SAP IS-Oil integrations
Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing system support and enhancements
Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces
Support data validation, reconciliation, and audit compliance processes
Participate in system upgrades, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities
Provide guidance on best practices and process improvements within PRA
Required Qualifications
8+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP PRA (Production & Revenue Accounting)
Proven experience in Oil & Gas upstream operations
Strong understanding of ownership, division of interest (DOI), and revenue allocation processes
Experience integrating SAP PRA with SAP FI/CO and other IS-Oil modules
Ability to work in a techno-functional capacity (configuration + technical collaboration)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and PRA migration or transformation projects
Exposure to SAP JVA (Joint Venture Accounting)
ABAP debugging or technical design experience
