Role: SailPoint Technical Lead

Job Description: SailPoint Technical Lead Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the architecture and design of SailPoint IGA solutions including:
o SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
o SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN)
Define technical architecture for identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance
Design scalable and secure SailPoint environments aligned with enterprise IAM strategy

Implementation & Technical Leadership
Lead end-to-end SailPoint implementations from requirements to production
Guide development of:
o Access Request & Approval workflows
o Lifecycle events (Joiner Mover Leaver)
o Provisioning and de provisioning processes
Integration & Connectivity
Design and implement integrations with:
o Active Directory / Azure AD
o HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
o ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
o Cloud applications (AWS, Azure, SaaS platforms)
Develop and manage SailPoint connectors and custom integrations
Ensure secure data exchange and API authentication

Governance, Risk & Compliance
Implement access certifications and entitlement reviews
Support compliance initiatives (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, etc.)
Ensure audit readiness through reporting, controls, and documentation
Define policies for roles, access, and segregation of duties (SoD)

Platform Administration & Operations
Oversee SailPoint platform configuration, upgrades, and patching
Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Define monitoring, logging, and operational support standards
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness

DevSecOps & Automation
Implement CI/CD practices for SailPoint development
Manage version control, deployment pipelines, and release management
Introduce automation to reduce manual access management efforts

Stakeholder & Team Leadership
Act as technical lead and mentor for SailPoint developers and engineers
Translate business and compliance requirements into technical solutions
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and audit teams
Provide technical leadership during design reviews and client workshops

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow
Expertise in:
o Identity lifecycle management
o Role-based access control (RBAC)
o Access certifications and request workflows
Proficiency in Java, Beanshell, XML, JSON, REST APIs
Strong understanding of IAM protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
Cloud & Directory Knowledge
Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
Understanding of hybrid and cloud IAM architectures
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform beneficial)
Certifications (Preferred)
SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer or Architect
SailPoint IdentityNow certification
IAM or security certifications (CISSP, CISM nice to have)
Experience
7+ years in IAM or identity security roles
