We are seeking an experienced and outstanding POWER BI ANALYST for one of our esteemed clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • SQL Expertise: Utilize strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data from databases and other sources to support reporting requirements.
  • SSRS Reports: Develop and enhance SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports to complement Power BI solutions when necessary.
  • Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models in Power BI to ensure efficient data analysis and visualization.
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior developers and analysts, providing guidance and training in Power BI best practices.
  • Lead Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Power BI projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in existing Power BI solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices, and apply them to improve our reporting capabilities.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master s preferred).
  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Proficiency in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Strong data modeling skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and mentoring skills.
  • Experience leading and managing Power BI project.
  • Certifications in Power BI are a plus.
