Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with strong expertise in modern Shopify development and the ability to lead end-to-end eCommerce implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow, Online Store 2.0, Liquid, JavaScript, REST APIs, and GraphQL, along with a solid understanding of the latest Shopify platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and architect Shopify implementations from scratch.
Develop and customize Shopify themes, storefronts, and extensions.
Build and maintain Shopify apps, integrations, and custom functionalities.
Work with Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow, and Storefront API.
Integrate third-party services using REST APIs and GraphQL.
Optimize storefront performance, security, and user experience.
Manage source code using Git and follow deployment best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth releases.
Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) for deployment and hosting where applicable.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Shopify development and Shopify Admin.
Expertise in Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify Flow, Online Store 2.0, and Liquid.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript concepts.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and Shopify app/extension development.
Experience with Git version control and CI/CD/deployment concepts.
Good understanding of Shopify performance optimization and security best practices.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead a development team.
