Principal AI Software Engineer - Hybrid 67751

This role is ideal for a hands-on senior engineer who enjoys leveraging modern AI capabilities such as LLMs, GPT-based systems, RAG architectures, and agentic tools to build powerful applications and automate complex workflows.

Rather than developing AI models from scratch, this position focuses on using existing AI tools and frameworks to build practical software solutions that integrate AI-driven functionality into a growing platform ecosystem.

The team develops new applications and platform capabilities that support a wide range of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build AI-powered applications integrated into a large enterprise platform.
Leverage LLMs, GPT-based tools, and agentic frameworks to automate workflows and enhance application functionality.
Develop systems that utilize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures to connect applications with internal and external data sources.
Build and integrate AI agents and AI-driven components into existing software ecosystems.
Work across front-end and back-end development depending on project needs.
Integrate data from multiple vendor systems including structured and unstructured data sources.

Must Have Skills:

Staff or Principal level Software Engineering experience
Experience working with Agentic AI frameworks / agent-based tools
Experience using MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
Experience using AI development tools to build applications and automation
Strong software engineering and system design experience
Proficiency in any modern programming language (front-end or back-end) except C#
Experience working with LLMs / GPT tools from a practical application perspective

Nice to Have:

Experience working with MarTech or large-scale enterprise platforms
Experience integrating applications with third-party vendor systems
Background working with data-heavy applications
