Summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Product Analyst-Project Manager for a remote opportunity with one of our premier clients in the Insurance and Investments industry.
The Senior Business Analyst will lead and support the implementation of personal lines insurance programs across assigned states. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert and key liaison between business and technology teams, providing strategic analysis, implementation leadership, and recommendations that support state initiatives and broader corporate objectives.
The role requires a strong combination of analytical thinking, project management, business strategy, and communication skills. The ideal candidate can manage multiple initiatives, translate business needs into actionable requirements, analyze trends, solve complex problems, and drive implementation activities from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute assigned state implementations for personal lines program launches.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned states, workstreams, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Act as a key point of contact for state and countrywide implementation activities.
  • Analyze business trends and provide tactical and strategic recommendations to support business and corporate objectives.
  • Consult with stakeholders on business issues, implementation considerations, and product changes.
  • Provide advanced analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with technology teams to communicate business vision, requirements, priorities, and the impact of changes.
  • Lead and manage multiple implementation initiatives and project activities.
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Educate and support business and technology partners throughout implementation efforts.
  • Provide training, user support, and knowledge sharing to business teams.
  • Mentor less experienced analysts, support new hires, and lead job-shadowing activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative or analytical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant business analysis, implementation, product, or project experience.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with statistical or analytical software such as SAS or Emblem preferred.
  • Experience managing projects or leading complex cross-functional initiatives preferred.
