Currently seeking individuals for Mechanical Utilities Engineering . Successful
candidates will aid in the design and implementation of utility equipment systems as part of a broad
engineering and architectural team. Working for a national engineering firm which offers complete planning, process engineering, facility development, and construction management services.

Knowledge should include:

Steam/ condensate, compressed air, chilled water generation, water filtration systems
Industrial refrigeration systems including ammonia, Freon, and CO 2
Process utility systems including RO water, nitrogen, and CO 2
Utility and distribution piping
Generation of equipment and piping specifications, utility PFD's & P&ID's
Installation supervision and system start up assistance

Responsibilities:

Direct interaction with clients and end users
Preliminary engineering studies, including cost estimating, project scheduling, and report writing
Detailed engineering and systems design
Equipment and subcontractor procurement duties
Installation supervision and utility system start-up assistance

Requirements:

Required 3+ years of experience
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related 4-year degree
Successful candidates will be professional, self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
AutoCAD ability preferred
FE/EIT certificate preferred
Travel to customer project sites for review, audit, and meetings, estimated 15 - 25%
