IT Security/ Help Desk Analyst

Our government client is looking for an experienced IT Security/ Help Desk Analyst
on a hybrid 12+ months renewable contract role in Harrisburg, PA.

Position- IT Security/ Help Desk Analyst

The agency is seeking an experienced IT Contractor with a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing technical work in information technology security and support fields. This is a cross-team position to fulfill duties within our security and help desk teams.
You will be required to provide general technology support, respond to and implement support tickets, assist documenting and managing incidents and vulnerabilities, perform network monitoring and reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies. The ideal candidate should be capable of working collaboratively between teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required / Desired Skills

• 2 years of Experience in information security related support Required
• 2 years of Experience in helpdesk related support Required
• Experience with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems Required
• Experience with Microsoft O365 products Required
• Experience with incident reporting and support ticketing systems Required
• Experience with network and computer security testing tools Required
• Experience reading and interpreting security logs and reports Required
• Experience working with Tenable and Splunk Required
• Associate’s degree or current certifications within information technology Required
