Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deltek Costpoint Functional Consultant to support a newly acquired business entity of the client that is currently operating on the Deltek Costpoint ERP platform. The environment includes Financials, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Sales Orders modules (HR module is NOT in scope).
The client is experiencing multiple operational gaps, configuration challenges, and system inefficiencies. The consultant will work closely with business users and stakeholders to identify issues, optimize configurations, and help stabilize the system environment.
This is a highly visible, priority engagement requiring a hands-on functional expert who has participated in multiple Deltek Costpoint implementations and production support initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues within the Deltek Costpoint ERP system
- Work directly with end users to identify operational gaps and process inefficiencies
- Configure and optimize Costpoint modules including:
- Financials
- Inventory
- Supply Chain
- Sales Orders
- Provide functional guidance and best practices based on prior Costpoint implementation experience
- Assist with system stabilization, process improvement, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Document findings, recommendations, and configuration changes
- Support ongoing business operations and help improve ERP adoption
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP (version 7.x or 8.x preferred)
- Proven experience supporting multiple Deltek Costpoint implementations
- Deep functional knowledge of:
- Financials
- Inventory Management
- Supply Chain
- Sales Orders
- Experience with ERP configuration, troubleshooting, and gap analysis
- Strong communication and end-user support skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- No development or coding experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Government Contracting, or Defense environments
- Prior experience supporting post-acquisition ERP integration or stabilization projects
- Candidates located in the Western US preferred to minimize travel, though strong candidates from other regions will be considered

- This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ
- Immediate availability is strongly preferred
- Rate is flexible based on experience and expertise
- Client is looking for a senior-level functional consultant who can quickly assess and resolve business-critical ERP issues
