Come innovate with us!Position SummaryIn your role as a TEM Analysis Engineer, you'll be responsible for performing TEM analysis on semiconductor devices to understand the profiles, critical dimensions, chemical composition & distribution, defect composition & occurrence step. You'll also generate in-depth report to help requesters making decisions on tool status change, process adjustment, wafer disposal et al, which is critical for the Fab to meet yield, TAT and cost reduction goals.
Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll be responsible for:
- Operating TEM tools of various models to perform timely and high quality analysis and generate in-depth reporting
- Collaborating closely with customers to understand their demand, interpret or present TEM analysis results, identify defect root cause, establish failure model, determine counter measurements and validation plan.
- Collaborating with Ops team on TEM sample quality improvement and development of sample prep BKM for advanced techniques.
- Recognizing opportunities and lead projects regarding to analytical work improvement in terms of quality, TAT and cost
- Performing level appropriate tool maintenance
Skills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:
- B. S. or higher degree in Materials Science, Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline. S
- Structure analysis tools hands on experience is required
- Must have basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and device physics and prior experience in materials physics and chemistry
- Must be able to conduct scientific research on novel semiconductor defective issues and write scientific paper.
- Previous experience on defect root cause analysis, failure modeling is desired but not required, as well as In-depth knowledge on advanced node process integration is desired but not required
