Senior DevOps Engineer / System Engineer Platform Center of Excellence
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Center of Excellence to build and manage cloud systems. This role focuses on building and managing full-stack infrastructure solutions for modern systems and enabling greenfield implementations.
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter, a quick learner, and a collaborative team player who works closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver complex platform and infrastructure projects, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and cloud platforms using industry best practices.
Automate DevOps workflows across all phases of the delivery pipeline.
Collaborate with Scrum teams to deploy and operate microservices-based applications in multi-environment setups.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability.
Use monitoring tools to detect, diagnose, and resolve system events and alarms, focusing on efficiency and reliability.
Provide timely and informative follow-up on incident tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Implement DevSecOps best practices, including vulnerability scanning and compliance frameworks.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or System Engineering roles.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Technical Skills
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS / EKS / GKE)
Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK stacks
Programming / Scripting: Python, Shell, Go
Security & Compliance: DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, SOX compliance
Preferred Certifications
Advanced certifications in DevOps, Cloud technologies, or Kubernetes
Leadership & Soft Skills
Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement
