Job Details

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is looking for a Principal Modeling & Simulations Engineer / Analyst that possesses a solid working knowledge and experience base in the development and production of multi-fidelity simulation capabilities for weapons, sensors, communications, directed energy, or Cyber systems to include electronic attack / electronic protection. The Candidate will work with a high-bandwidth, multi-location team primarily developing a U.S. Army Modeling capability within MTSI. They will be responsible for developing, acquiring and integrating the simulation infrastructure, including the networks, computing hardware and software. Responsibilities:
  • Provide Modeling and Simulation Analysis for Army systems, including ground vehicles, Aviation Systems, Missile Systems, Robotic Ground Systems, and Army Radio and Network operations.
  • Model weapon system performance in real-world environments by analyzing critical sensor and weapon platforms, command, control, communications, and computers (C4) and decision processes.
  • Develop representations of Army System architecture elements
  • Provide mission-level modeling execution using simulation frameworks like the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).
  • Develop, apply, and evaluate advanced technologies that highlight concept solutions across multiple domains (air, land, sea, space) and mission areas.
  • Provide technical integration and implementation of other system simulation tools (e.g. ground and air vehicle six-degree-of-freedom, sensor/detector hardware) to analyze mission-level communication technologies captured in AFSIM and OneSAF.
  • Deliver metrics-based products and executive-level presentations and assist in producing simulation-driven visualizations.
  • Support special studies as needed to include experimental efforts showing concept feasibility, analysis, data integration, and software development for communication technologies.
  • Provide excellent customer support and demonstrate an ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and/or customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evolve an MTSI roadmap for MSA capability development across Army and AMD customers.
  • Provide capability briefings, development, and presentations to customers that demonstrate MTSI value.
  • Support White Paper and Proposal development across MTSI.
  • Building a staff/team to support AMD customers.

Qualifications:
