Must Have Skills:
-Strong EKS management and configuration - this includes Helm / YAML / Go template and Kubectl (CLI for managing clusters)
***for Go template - they do not need to be a golang expert but foundational knowledge of go is helpful. - go template leverages the language in a more limited scope
-Experience containerizing and managing Java app in pods / clusters
***Java runtime experience is helpful for debugging - environment can be defined in helm as oppossed to at the container level and thus debugging or troubleshooting why java containerized apps are not running is helpful
-strong log and monitoring and observability experience
-strong debugging of deployment issues
-strong AWS cloud (Secrets manager / IAM / RDS / Ec2 / S3
Preferred Skills:
-experience with trading / crypto platforms ***(this is not required and somewhat unneccessary given the Kubernetes scope of work)****
