Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Developer who can transform complex datasets into powerful, executive-level dashboards. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Tableau, strong SQL skills, and the ability to partner with business and technical teams to deliver data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop high-performance Tableau dashboards for business, operations, and leadership teams
• Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, actionable visualizations
• Connect Tableau to diverse data sources including SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, Excel, and cloud platforms
• Optimize dashboards using best practices for performance, usability, and scalability
• Create and manage Tableau data extracts, parameters, calculated fields, LOD expressions
• Publish and administer content on Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security across reporting assets
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on data modeling and ETL readiness
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of reporting issues
• Mentor junior developers and conduct dashboard design reviews

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Server/Cloud
• Strong expertise in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, window functions)
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau calculations, LOD expressions, parameters, actions
• Experience building dashboards for large-scale and high-volume datasets
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, star/snowflake schemas
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, dbt)
• Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis
• Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist / Certified Data Analyst)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
