Job Title: Google Cloud Platform IAM Engineer (Kubernetes + GoLang)

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Role Summary

We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform IAM Engineer with strong Kubernetes and GoLang skills to design, build, and automate identity and access management controls across Google Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement IAM architecture on Google Cloud Platform, including organization policies, resource hierarchy, roles, service accounts, and Workload Identity Federation.
• Develop IAM automation, controllers, and internal tooling in GoLang.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes operators and custom controllers for access provisioning.
• Automate identity lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver) and access reviews.
• Implement least-privilege and Zero Trust principles, and use IAM Recommender and Policy Analyzer to reduce excessive permissions.
• Manage secrets and privileged access with Secret Manager, HashiCorp Vault, or CyberArk.
• Integrate SSO/federation (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2) with Cloud Identity, Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, or Ping.
• Codify infrastructure with Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
• Support audit and compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA) with logging, monitoring, and evidence via Cloud Audit Logs and Security Command Center.

• Partner with security, DevOps, and application teams on access design and incident response.

Required Skills

• 6+ years in IAM, cloud security, or platform engineering, with 3+ years on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong hands-on GoLang development (APIs, CLIs, controllers, concurrency).
• Deep Kubernetes/GKE experience, including RBAC, service accounts, and workload identity.
• Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform IAM: roles, policies, conditions, service account impersonation, VPC Service Controls.
• Proficiency with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, and Kerberos.

• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevSecOps practices.
